Bottom

[1] The lowest point. See door bottom.
[2] To lower something.
[3] To reach the end of its travel (i.e., bottom out).
[4] To make contact with the road.
[5] One of the six flavor of quarks, with a mass of 4800 MeV and a charge of -e/3. The bottomness of a bottom quark is 1, of an antibottom quark -1, and of all other particles 0. Bottomness is conserved in strong and electromagnetic interactions between particles but not in weak interactions. Also called beauty. See also double bottom
