About Glas

Hans Glas GmbH is a former German automotive company, which was based in Dingolfing.

History

The mechanic Andreas Glas founded a repair company for agricultural machines at 1895 in Pilsting. He named the company Andreas Glas, Reparaturwerkstätte für landwirtschaftliche Maschinen mit Dampfbetrieb (in English: Andreas Glas, repair-shop for steam-powered agricultural machines). During the summer periods about 16 people worked for him. In 1905 Andreas Glas' company built their first sowing machines. He then had sufficient work to employ all his employees during the winters. The production of sowing machines rose from year to year:

winter period 1905/06 - 10 sowing machines
autumn 1906 - 20 pieces
winter period 1906/07 - 40 machines
1907 - 60 pieces
winter period 1907/08 - 254 sowing machines.

Since 1905 Glas had a branch office in Dingolfing. He started to produce in Dingolfing in 1908 with 150 sowing machines per year. The production count rose each year.

After World War II, the market for sowing machines was getting smaller and smaller. So the company had to decide what it would produce in the future. It decided to build little carrows and later working machines for bakers next to the sowing machines.

Search Out for Auto Insurance Quotes and Save More

Driving without a car insurance is not only against the law, but it can also cost you a lot financially if you happen to get your car crashed and if unfortunately, you are at accidents fault. If you are someone who’s tired of paying too much for an auto insurance but still don’t want to risk driving without it, then now is the right time to change and subscribe to a much cheaper one. You can definitely get the best auto insurance quotes on the web and get to save so much more on car insurances than you ever thought possible.

In different states of United States of America, different auto insurances are being offered, each with different rates and policies. But what is common to them is the responsibility placed on clients as they drive and ensuring these customers that everything is being covered in case of unfortunate events.

The only catch is that most clients are not regularly told on certain things that they need to do to benefit and help them save on their coverage. If you are spending a whole lot of cash yet getting too little from it, then your next step should be shopping around auto insurance quotes in the place that you live in.

People sometimes disregard quotes just because it looks like a difficult to do and they don’t seem to have the time to do it. But the good thing is we now have the internet, and it is not easier to look at various auto insurance quotes on the web. You get to compare quotes from leading insurance companies at the comforts at your own home and in just a click of a mouse you get invested and have the best deal in no time. You can be on your way to saving hundreds or even thousands on auto insurance premiums each and every year. If you are still bugged and greatly concerned about the money spent on it, just take your time and try to unhurriedly compare quotes online to get the best coverage you need.
